At 44 could i do ivf? I had one failed ivf some 10 years back.

yes if AMH and other all tests and scan is normal.
before going for IVF u must have these tests.. CBC ,HIV , AMH , FSH ,LH, Prolactin, hep B&C , Rubella
1-u can have ivf at 44; though the chances of success will be v.limited. After 35 in females the fertility declines 30 to 40% n with a drastic drop after 40yrrs of age.
2- now considering age 44 & already a failed ivf, seems like probably poor pelvic health or some comorbidity\' n these all together alongwith ur ovarian reserve, hormone levels, male partner health... they all matter n effect ivf success.
3- but having said that, have ur latest tests done to check ur ovarian n its follicular activity status,
▪︎ ur general health profile.
▪︎ day-2 of M/C s.FSH, s.LH, s. prolactin, s.TSH.
▪︎ s.AMH levels
▪︎ Get ur TVS. ultrasound for antral follicles count ultrasound n then for size of dominant follice in specific days of M/C
▪︎ Husabands semen analysis n if he has some heath issue then detailed evaluation
▪︎ but do mind it, at this age theirs increased chances of IVF failure, miscarriage, genetically defective baby, a v.high risk complicated pregnancy pathway if it happens\'

Totally agree with dr kanwal , but give it a try with precautions , preimplantation genetic diagnosis ( harmony test ) , discuss your chances with fertility centre , discuss embryo freezing too, plz choose sincere n professional fertility centre, many are giving false hopes n making money . May Allah bless you with a healthy baby .
