Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore

My last period started on 7th of December. I have a regular cycle of 28 days. I tested positive for pregnancy on 9th january but there was no sac visible in ultrasound. The doctor prescribed d-gest and presiege inj. And asked me to return for an ultrasound after 10 days.Is it too early for the sac to show or is this something to worry about?

Yes sometimes very early in pregnancy the sac and fetal heart beat may not be visible on ultrasound. It may also be an indication of slow growing pregnancy. Continue the treatment as prescribed by your doctor and go for a follow-up ultrasound in 10 days or 2 weeks. Wishing you all the best

Is it something to worry about? Can the pregnancy be a viable one? I concieved after 2 years of trying, I do not want to lose it.
Please guide accordingly.

It is too early to give a confirm answer. One option is that get a blood test B Hcg and then repeat it after 2 days. If the levels are double then it means the pregnancy is growing well and is most probably viable. I can understand your worry but this early we can not give you a sure answer
