Assalamualaikum My Name is Muhammad Rizwan.I'm from one years ago my wife got dvt after the birth of baby she has recovered 80-90% from have just one child and wanted another child but doctor said it's dangerous to pregnant after dvt Please guide me is pregnancy safe after recovering from dvt or not? yea she can concieve again but her care would be under the team of doctors and she would be given special medication to thin out blood in the form of inj in higher dosages through our her pregnancy n 6 weeks afterwards

There is a list of tests to be done to determine any autoimmune disease being the cause of DVT. Further pregnancy is going to be a high risk one with continuous blood thinner to be taken daily. It is advisable to get consultation by senior gynaecologist at tertiary care hospital.
