Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy And Ultrasound
Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Lahore
According to my LMP I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I had an ultrasound in May according to which gestational age was 1 day less than LMP date. Today I had another ultrasound in which gestational age is 37w is it something to worry about?

In last trimester there may be 1 week difference via usg..U dont need to worry if the movements of ur baby are ok and the fetal parameters and amount of liquor is adequate

-date descrepency could occur depends on scanning procedure in late pregnancy near delivery.
-for proper dates matching early trimester scan is good and helpful.
-if baby's weight, doppler and AFI is normal mild date descrepency is not a big deal but if any of above mismatched need to pay attention.
-irregular periods, also could give date descrepency so that's why first trimester scan 's Expected date of delivery matters.
-Discuss with treating doctor with help of all scans of this preg' zncy u had to clear any confusion.
-regular follow ups and strict check on baby movements.
