Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy-cough/sore Throat

I’m having cough since a week now, initially it was dry then flu started so I started having wet cough/congestion now, my gynaecologist gave me coferb syrup and kestine tablet but it didn’t do much, have been doing gargles with warm salt water, drinking yaknhi and doing all the remedies but still not better, now since yesterday I’m also having a little pain in my throat and I’m not sure if I should continue taking coferb syrup for this long in pregnancy because it’s already been 6 days . I’m 14 weeks pregnant. Pls advise
