Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy (Haven't Conceived Yet)

Please expedite it properly regarding pregnancy as I haven't conceived yet, Usually period starts from 23rd of every month but now it's been 31st of Month but there isn't any sign of pregnancy, Dr prescribed me Tab brotin 2.5mg tab(as my prolactin level got high( >40) in test along with Tab gonadil F, Right now I am not taking these medicines.. I wanna confirm, Shall I discontinue these medicines or continue from now, Need suggestion in this regard? Shall I go for Beta hcg test or wait for one more week?( As I checked it twice through test strips, showed negative result)
