Asalam o alaikum. I have 6 weeks pregrancy. Dr recommended me duphastan tablet when i take duphastan, it cause me nausea and weakness. Should i continue duphastan or not. Thank you in advance

ok then u shud continue-purpose is to support ur pregnancy-now oral or any other kind of progesterone might affect u the same way-
u might b hvg nausea associated wth pregnancy...better consult an OBG so tht u r prescribed u wth good anti emetics...ur oral intake is v imp these days for ur own well being as well as ur baby's...

U can take progesteron pessary in place of oral ..

-u can have nausea and vormitings in Early pregnancy.
Duphaston is advised to support pregnancy and to avoid miscarriage.
Discuss this with treating doctor who advised u duphaston.
-U can have regular folic acid, Antenatal scans and visits.

Please discuss it with your treating doctor as she is a better judge. Continue with Folic acid and antiemetics.
