Talk to Gynecologist on Primary Vaginismus

Female, age 26, married since 2 years. During the intial days of my marriage, we were unable to have penetrative intercourse. My vaginal muscles were as tight as hitting a wall, as per my husband. We searched on internet and figured out that this condition is called Vaginismus. After few months, we were able to have proper intercourse. Now, after trying over 1 year, we are unable to get pregnant. I am a pcos patient as well. My dr had suggested me to get a TVS ultrasound, which is a nightmare for me. As soon as the wand is inserted in my Vagina, I feel sharp painful pressure, which leds dr . to take it out. I want to know what can I do to overcome this pain/fear? My dr has just asked me to be relaxed at the next visit. But i need more guidance in this case. Please note I don't feel that much pain/pressure during intercourse now.
