If you don't have any hormonal problem then the typical dose is :
Start 3 days before your expected period.
Usual dose: 1 tablet (5 mg) three times daily.
Continue until you want to have your period.
Bleeding usually starts 2–4 days after stopping.
Possible side effects: bloating, breast tenderness, mood changes, mild spotting.
Kindly make sure you don't have any underlying condition. Best to consult a doctor.
