I have 10 weeks pregnancy after three years of first miscarriage and DnC.I’m already hypothyroid and prolactin patient after miscarriage. Thyroid is in control with endocrinologist dosage of thyronorm but prolactin is high. My breasts feels heavy and itching on nipples also heavy painful burden on brain/head and backpain most oftenly. I’m very worried about miscarriage again due to high prolactin. I used brotin tablets alot before pregnancy but results were high and didn’t come in control. Now in pregnancy can I take Brotin to control prolactin or not ? please help me
Aoa plz share your prolactin levels if too much high. U have to consult endocrinologist. Thanks
Did your dr rule out prolactinoma?

thts why i always emphasize on pre pregnancy councelling before starting pregnancy...other than brotin one another good medicine is available to treat hyperprolactinemia in pregnancy...first u do ur X ray skull Anterior and lateral view...then do ur complete thyroid profile...aft tht medicine tht dosage can be adjusted...as prescriptions r nt allowed on this forum and tht too wthout investigations...so my advice is to do wt i asked u to do and then c ur care giver...prolactin actually suppress other hormones directly so women end up in miscarriages...so do as advised on emergent basis...
