Talk to Gynecologist on Rubella Igg Antibodies In Pregnancy

I want to discuss i experienced rubella without symptoms during pregnancy that effect the baby. I abort. Question is how it can effect?? .... Bcoz dr told me fetus have some brain growth issue. Like anancephaly and after it what are the outcomes. 2) Means when antibodies are in body i need vaccination or not? 3rd thing is how time it take to end and move to next pregnancy. Antibodies shouldbe lessened or completely end to concieve. Its impact on next pregnancy. Kindly explain in detail

Good question.when you are exposed to rubella then IgG antibodies will remain positive throughout life,so no need to worry about this and you can conceive now because minimum period required after infection is of 3 months.Regards

But test after 3 months it were present but in less amount so i wait for next 3 months too but alll in vain

Is it due to lck of folic only or rubella has effect also

yes if u hv developed protective Anti bodies if proven wth ur TORCH profile then no need to take vaccine...but if u hvnt then u shud...
if untreated then this can affect ur future pregnancy as well...
so better take pre pregnancy counselling along wth your husband before you start another pregnancy
