Talk to Gynecologist on Severe Cramping In Really Low Abdomen. Light Periods.

I have a 2 year old. I had my periods on time but they were really light. Since day 2 of my periods I'm having cramps on my right side, it's in really lower abdomen, just above vagina-pain in right leg too. Pain increases with activities otherwisei it's mild. I usually have 4 days of periods but on 5th and 6th day im still lightly spotting once/twice a day and cramps continue. Today is the 6th day. should I see a doctor? I usually dont have cramps at all during periods. What could be the reason? is my uterus prolapsing? or could it be early pregnancy?
