Asking for Self, Female, 21 years old, Gulistan e johar, Karachi
I got married in December 2023 and have had irregular periods since May 2024, with this pattern:
May: Missed June: Periods occurred July: Missed August to October: Periods occurred November: Missed December: Not yet occurred
My period usually starts on the 10th, but after a missed month, it occurs on the same date the following month, sometimes shifting to the 12th.
I suspect this may be due to poor diet: (I don't know the real cause) May-July: During exams, I skipped meals, stayed hungry for long hours, and ate only lunch with my family.
November: While dieting, I avoided rice, flour, sugar, and refined flour. I ate breakfast at 9 a.m., skipped meals during the day as i was in the office, and occasionally had snacks like French fries or chickpeas at night.
I consulted a doctor, she said nutrition isn’t the cause and prescribed Tinostol (8g sachets, twice daily) for PCOS. She also suggested a medicine to induce artificial periods (name on receipt). T
it's significant. visit in person.
Repeat USG pelvis from radiologists to see in details.
