Talk to Gynecologist on Stiches Care After Instrumental Delivery

It's been 24 days since delivery, but the stiches are not being dissolved, and a white layer looks like pus can be seen on the stiches. Is it safe to use cicatrin powder/Septran DS in grinded form on the stiches so that they dry quickly as it seems pain is getting severe day by day? Will it have any problem with the dissolvation of stitches as it will stick on the stitches and not easy to remove?
