I've got married in mid of august nd didnt get my periods though i had spotting twice 1st one was on 20th aug nd then on 28th august then i got my blood test(beta hcg) done on 3rd oct it showed positive result with 4weeks but today i had got my first ultra sound i.e on 13th nov it showed only 5weeks nd 1 day so please tell me y there is so much variations ?
Thanks you may need to repeat us after one week to see pregnancy status if pregnancy is intact fine if no cardiac activity appears it means pregnancy is not good this may be due to spotting you have in the beginning but you did not mention LMP
Salam sometimes there is a delayed conception that is why ultrasound shows less weeks but u need to repeat ultrasound after a week to check how pregnancy is progressing . Thanks and best of luck

u r confused wth the on and off spotting though u rem ur dates well enough-so in ur case i ll take ur first ultrasound for determining your period of pregnancy...

JazakAllah doctors for the response the last spotting i had was on 28th aug nd the blood test was done on 4th oct so i didnt have any kind of spotting till now i'm waiting for the 2nd ultra sound to b done on next week but please till then suggest me precautions should b done to make my pregnancy safe

- dear I am surprised why u did u consult late after missing periods or getting spots .
- folic acid need to be taken since u start trying conception .
- Hormonal imbalance / irregular could be cause of this Discrepency .
- have Restricted activities til next scan atleast and observe Symmptoms strictly and report pain and bleeding immediately.
- have complete treatment for any health issue u have .
- have recreational activities and quit recreational drugs.
- avoid exersion,stress,stairs,over work ,long walk ,have rest .

Last time I got periods on 3rd aug my periods were never irregular
