Use Of Antidepressants During Pregnancy

Question

My wife is using an antidepressant called escitalopram 10 mg since the last 6 months as per doctor's prescription due to anxiety or depression disorder. Now she has got pregnant since the last 3 weeks. Can she use the same medicine i.e. escitalopram during her pregnancy. Will there be any side effects on her pregnancy using escitalopram? Need your kind suggestion whether the same medicine is ok in pregnancy or should use any other kind of antidepressant?

Aoa no definite opinion but in small study it seems safer than other medicine . U should not stop the medicine until u talk to your doctor.Thanks
