Talk to Gynecologist on Use Of Contraceptive Pills

I had a online session at Marham with a gynaecologist as I wanted to use birth control. She recommended using Yaz from 2nd day of my new cycle and that my safe time will start from the second cycle of use. I have 2 questions I was unable to start from the 2nd day, Is it OK if I start my first month from the 5th day of my cycle? and when will my safe time start? Also can I take ecp if I have too, during the first month while also taking Yaz?

Aoa yes you can start from 5th day. If you start any other day of cycle use condom for 7 day. Thanks
I think u misunderstood her . 7 to 8 days after starting the tablets ur safe period starts . just use additional contraception or avoid intercourse for 1st 7 days

there are 4 placebo pills they can b skipped . means u take active pills for 24 days n then gap for 4 days then start next pack but I recommend take those as well these tablets contain iron it's good for ur health n in addition to that ur routine of taking pills once disturb will be difficult to redeem
