person-avatar

Asking For Wife, Female 26, Rawalpindi

Wife is having severe pain from last 4 days in lower abdomen. Most of the time it is in the center but sometimes it moves towards ovaries as well (both). heavy vaginal Discharge of white color from almost a week now with itching but no burning in urine. Had a round of Azomax with fosfomycin for 7 days then clithromycin with cifixime for 14 days and doxycycline 7 days with ceftrixone 1G IV.. Got relief for a month but it started again. Pelvic ultrasound is normal and urine test (culture , R/E) found no traces of bacteria but 1-2 puss cells in R/E. Currently using diclofenic for the time being but no pain relief. I had a history of infection but got all my blood urine tests along with ultrasound all clear. What should we do now? Should I go for HSG to check tubal blockage and where in Lahore we can get best services.

Looks like she has developed chronic pelvic pain , what is her CRP and ESR?she needs to be checked before any decision for HSG. As Laproscopy and tube test might be a better option

ok thanks and any other test that you would suggest to find the cause. One more thing, pain starts because of stress

HSG is contraindicated in pelvic infections. if discharge is still present then go for a High vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity and treat according to sensitivity.

The pain started after stress.. Discharge was already there but without any pain. She got stress and it all started again. Both times , stress was the reason to start the pain. Does this refers to any tubal blockage?

Will go for Swab test, cant undersrand why stress is cause for pain. seems like inflammation is there in the pelvic area or something is damaged that causes pain on stress as muscles contracts. Any other tests that you would suggest?

Better not to do HSG these days.
she can take one Capsule/ Tablet Zolanix 150 mg by mouth, and apply Canesten cream external use treo to three time daily for five to six days
Tab. Nospa 1+1+1 For two days
Avoid Sex for about a week
For further, get appointment through MARHAM after one week
