Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, Multan
24 years unmarried... having itching on last few months or a year i had watery discharge sometime cottage cheese type thick discharge.... this month i only have a milky watery discharge no cheese discharge..... mu down area becomes more sensative... itching I have done high vaginal swab... report showed gram positive bacilli... kindly explain

u seem to hv vaginosis.
use sum good quality femina-wash.
observe hygiene.
if u can insert HVS stick inside then u can easily use intravaginal cremes as well...
so use creme metronidazole for Vagina for 6 instructions r given on the leaflet provided wth the creme and applicators.

Doc i did not insert swab stick too far... just the area where the foam present.. i just put that area on vagina... so i can use metronidazole same as i used swab stick...?? I am unmarried

Please consult your doctor as she has seen the type of discharge and discuss your report with her whether you still need antibiotics

In ur point of view i dont have a need of antibiotics? But still i have itching nd burning.. nd daily when i wake up and stand up for go to washroom white discharge fell into traozr... its totally a daily routine...

Then who took your discharge sample HVS? Visit your doctor so that she examines you and then advise medicine. Don’t take unnecessary antibiotics.

I took sample myself at home.. nd send sample in lab.... i use swab stick into my vagina nd wait for few seconds and close it in a tube...
