Talk to Gynecologist on Ventriculomegaly
Asking for Self, Female, 31 years old, lahore
Aoa. iam 27 weeks preg. recently had u/s n find out my baby had mild Ventriculomegaly 0.92 cm. keep in mind my family had strong histroy of autism in girls. abnormalities had observed. even sudden death after birth. i dont want to suffer pain. doctors asked for follow up u/s after every 2weeks. if it increase than they might suggest terminte the pregnancy. i dont want shunt surgery cz i know 2 baby girls couldnt progress throug this surgery. am i deciding too early or should i wait atleast 34week. actually i dont want give pain to my kid. might things get better. but how can i ignour the casea that r increasing in my family. both side me n my husband had strong histroy of abnormaloties. what u would suggest. want unbois opinion. close to reality

Answer is not so easy to give here you must see some neonatologist and then come to the clinic I will give you a session
so sad to hear about sirf ventriculomegaly hai tou may be scenario itna bad nhi ho end per Jitna ap soch ri hain agr sath or b abnormality hain tou termination is the so difficult to decide about it
better to go to neonatal specialist and can give you better idea to deal with it

i had visit . they suggest me wait for other u/s. if there is no betterment than its up to u. 2ndly no other abnormalities had been observed rather this. few docs said u should continue this preg. n will deliver the healthy baby . csec can be option too cz of big head circumference. n than we will go for shunt . but it can go adverse too keeping in mind ur family history. alhamdulillah em mom of a 4year boy deliver normal at 38th complication at all.
now its like i myself giving torture to my kid inside the womb by thinking future risk. late milstones. autism. spinal prob. abnormal organ growth had been observed in my family
