Talk to Gynecologist on When Should I Take Pregnancy Test?

Assalam o Alikum. Hope you are doing fine. I wanted to ask when should i take my pregnancy test? My periods were due on the 4th but they are still not here. I took the pregnancy test on the 4th but it was not positive, like i was able to see super light line approx 1 min after the prescribed time. Like it was written that the results should be checked after 3 minutes but i was able to see the line after approx 4 mins. When should i take the next test? Please help. Thank you
