Asking For Self, Male 21, Multan
Dear Doctors,
I am a 21-year-old male university student residing in Multan, Pakistan. I have been experiencing allergy symptoms for the past four years, specifically during the winter season. My symptoms include extreme heat and allergic reactions on my skin when I am exposed to sunlight, experience stress, or feel warmth during winter. Interestingly, these symptoms subside when I come into contact with cold temperatures or use water.
Despite consulting multiple healthcare professionals, I have not found effective relief from these symptoms. I am seeking advice on whether visiting the Allergy Center in Islamabad could be beneficial for diagnosing and managing my condition. I would appreciate any professional guidance on how to better manage these winter-specific allergy symptoms.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
please get your IgE levels and must visit Allergy Centre Isb for confirmation and desensitisation of allergen, before going , call them and follow instructions they provide before coming , contact no of centre is available on their website please
it is Gov supported institute, so not that costly please call them on their contact no and discuss before going
it's completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me its a permanent solution
Sounds like you have heat urticaria which is a type of cholinergic urticaria. I don’t think you would benefit from visiting the Allergy centre. I would suggest to avoid the triggers that you know and use any good anti-allergic like Rigix, Kestine etc. However it’s better to consult a dermatologist once.

You have to avoid the triggers. And if still you are having problems after avoidance of triggers and using antiallergic medicines then you have to consult a dermatologist or an immunologist.

Sir! Last year, the dermatologist to whom I consulted and diagnosed was a professional dermatologist and had experience of more than 36 years, I continued treatment for three months by his supervision but it didn't prove to be beneficial for me in any kind.

Kindly do the following tasks . 1) Visit Allergy centre in Islamabad & the will do patch tests 2) as per your history—- do TFTs / CBC . CBC will show you IgE level. 3) might be Photosensitivity—avoid sun exposure and use Sun bloc on Sunny days. Photosensitivity causes red rashes upon exposure to sun . Always check Ultraviolet index .
