Talk to Internal Medicine on Multiple Health Issues
Asking For Self, Female 17, Karachi
Hello Doctor, I’m 17 years old and have been facing multiple issues for the past few months:
Lower back pain radiating to the right leg (suspected sciatica)
Leg weakness while standing/walking
Severe ear pain with burning, worsened by pressure/sounds
Sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, neck stiffness, leg weakness, blackout-like feeling, followed by headache, anxiety, and breathlessness
Tiredness, body pain, and weakness despite rest
Recently fell from stairs; foot pain healed in a few days
Ongoing stomach pain; ultrasound clear but acidity present
Reports:
MRI: Mild disc bulges, no nerve compression
Blood tests: Low hemoglobin, uric acid, Vitamin D & B12 deficiencies
I need advice on:
Are these symptoms due to deficiencies or something else?
Any further tests or treatment needed?
Recommended diet, supplements, and precautions.

It seems like you are having deficiency of Vitamin D and Anemia due to B12 deficiency as well.
Do you get Indigestion as well?
Any loose bowel habits ?
Any tingling of hands or feet ?
Any rash on arms or legs ?
Low Blood pressure?
If you have Indigestion, please also get H pylori done stool serology.
Also Anti Intrinsic factors Antibodies too.
Have you used and supplements to correct the B12 and Vitamin D deficiency?
Any improvement observed?

Thank you for your response, Doctor.
_ Indigestion: Occasionally.
_ Loose bowel habits: No.
_ Tingling: Yes, in hands and feet, especially after sitting or during weakness.
_ Rashes: No.
_ Low BP: Not confirmed, but I often feel dizzy or weak.
I’ll get the H. pylori stool test and Anti-Intrinsic Factor Antibodies done soon.
For deficiency, I’ve been taking Zeecobal for B12. It's early, but hoping to see improvement with continued use.
Let me know if anything else is needed
