Being realistic oral submucous fibrosis is not like a fever which will subside on taking a medicine. There are different targets in this lesion.
To improve mouth opening to return to normal oral functions
To stop progress of disease and to prevent conversion of osf into invasive malignancy.
Treatment can be medicine or surgery but *the most important forst step is to stop habit which is the cause of osf*
stop habit immediately and visit a Maxillofacial surgeon for further proper management.
