Asking for Self, Male, 29 years old, Lahore
I have multiple small bumps/lesions (“dany”) inside my mouth. The exact same lesions have been present continuously for around 8–9 months and have not completely healed or disappeared.
They are multiple, and their size has not increased during this time. I am concerned about what they could be.
My recent blood tests showed:
- Hemoglobin: normal - Iron: normal - Ferritin: normal - Vitamin B12: low-normal - MCV: low (76)
Could these lesions be due to an infection, irritation, nutritional deficiency, or another oral condition? Since the same lesions have persisted for 8–9 months, which specialist should I consult (Oral Medicine or Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery)? Do you think I may need any tests such as an oral swab or biopsy?
I would appreciate your guidance.
Ulcer should not stay more than 4 weeks you should consult oral and maxillofacial surgeon as soon as possible you may need biopsy after clinical examination
