But to check the function of kidney
Urine complete examination and serum creatinine are more useful

Thanks for my mom ultrasound shows this mom have kidney disease. Her age is this normal size?

The kidney size is normal but many kidney diseases has normal size. Must check RFT, urine complete etc to make sure there is no evidence of kidney disease. Patient age, other medical problems can also play a role.

It's normal in size .
But kidney size is normal in many advanced diseases so it's not testimony
for good function.
