Dementia Or Something Else

Question

My mother facing problem of memory loss. She doesn\'t recognize her sons. Some times she doesn\'t able to take her meal her self. Her sleep time is very limited and many times  she starts weeping with out any reason. 
Please guide me the reason of her condition and also let me know to whom I consult for her.
