Asalamoalikum..m old patient of dr shahid when he was here in al shifa... Back n 2000..I have epilepsy since the age of 10 but never taken any vitamins or supplements.. So now kindly suggest good supplements or vitamins..second problem m taken tegrol nd lerace but still havimg fits which i got during sleep only.. Kindly need ur help.. Memory issue also i have.. Jazak ALLAH
Lerace and tegral needs to be adjusted as fits are still coming; for that see a neurologist; folic acid and vit D are recommended with antiepileptis , for that take supravit M tablet once a day.
Nocturnal seizures respond well to tegral. So dose of tegral should be optimized

As tegral is already upto it’s max dose then better to add tab Lamictal 25 mg daily at bed time and increase it on weekly basis till optimal dose of 100 mg is reached or the fits are controlled.
