Talk to Neuro Physician on Numbness In Thigh

I am 32 year old having medical history of hypertension and taking Tab Advant 8mg OD. 2 weeks before my father died since then I am feeling numbness only in front of my right thigh from pelvic joint to knee joint. I consult to doctor and advised to take tab methycobal (1+1) and Tab Brixen (1/2 + 1/2) but still I am feeling no improvement. Now doc advised me to use Tab Danzen (1+1) is it ok to use these medication further?? I'll attach my recent lab results in comments when post is approved. Please tag any Neurologist. Thank you.

Hope u are coping well. we’re u investigated for the cause of hypertension at this young age ? the numbness in front of thigh - does it come or go or is it constant ? any abdominal pain or back ache ? pain in thigh on walking ? How abt ur cholesterol levels ? Your weight ? uric acid level ?

Thank you Dr for your condolence. Yeah I was diagnosed hypertension at the age of 28. Numbness is constant and I don't have any abdominal pain nor backache ,no pain in thigh while walking.
My weight is 70kg
Height is 167cm
Cholesterol level is 165 mg/dl
blood sugar fasting 96 mg/DL
Uric acid is 6.0 mg/DL
I have mentioned currently using medication. Waiting for your kind response. Thank you

Okay that’s all good. The numbness can be caused due to a nerve compression in ur pelvic area. (somewhere around the hip bones). It would be good if u can book a video consultation examine a few movements of ur leg go from there. The medications that u are taking are not a treatment as we first need to know the cause. Hope that helps.
