Aoa! Sir I am a Computer engineer age 30yrs, normal weight. I am having Carpal tunnel syndrome in Right hand. Should i go for surgery or wait for sometime? I am having this issue from last 1.5month after rubella virus. My job is related to coding (computer usage) so what should i do? Please help. Should i visit you?
I see that you have been advised a weist brace. If wrist brace and MEDICAL management doesn't improve the pain in 4 to 6 weeks or the signs and symptoms get worst like numbness or pain increase then a surgery is indicated. if you are not willing to wait for 4 to 6 weeks that is also a relative indication

Thanks for responding. Sir as prescribed I am wearing wrist brace from last 3weeks taking "Ferv" medicine (my platelets were low after rubella) and numbness is constant whole day.
Now I feel pain sometimes for few minutes otherwise there is no pain in hand, there is just numbness that stays whole day and night (constant).
Numbness is not getting worse or less its the same. Surgeon said I should get surgery done for CTS.
I visited another neuro-physician he gave me anti inflammatory medicine for 1.5 month and splint usage till it get fine. He says i should not go for surgery for few years.
I am confused now that what should I do. Could you please give me appointment time or suggest me what should i do?

U can wait for sometime. Use wrist splint at night. Start tab neurobion three times daily and tab pregabalin 75mg at night. Try to reduce ur typing work if any. U can use speech to text devices for that.
