Diabetes in pregnancy requires a very thorough diet and precautionary plan. Its better to have your medical specialist on board during the pregnancy as the complications if present can be damaging for you and the baby. One thing I can suggest you is to have a logbook where you note down everyday's sugar levels, random and early morning fasting levels. Further treatment plan will be based on the fluctuations of your blood sugar levels.

Hi, I apologize for the delay in getting a reply posted. Gestational diabetes is something that requires careful dietary choices, and monitoring of food intake and blood sugar levels. As there is not a one size fits all approach, it is better to schedule an appointment at my clinic. 042-32591427, is my appointment number.

The most important thing is to be consistent. Make a schedule and stick to it.
