Asking For Self, Female, 34 Years old, lahore

I was diagnosed with aplastic anemia last year in September. I have a daughter which was born normal , my family don’t have any history of chronic disease. I was also healthy, never get sick or have any health problems. Before diagnosis I was feeling shortness of breath and high heart beat when do some work. Then one day a red spot star appeared from my right eye. When i go for checkup , doctor told me it was retina hemorrhage and i have to perform blood test. By performing CBC i was diagnosed pencytopenia that my whole blood count was low. Then i performed bone marrow biopsy which show i have aplastic anemia. I am taking cyclosoprine along with prednisolone and vitamin B6. Its been 5 months that i am taking these medicine . I want to ask how long it will take me to recover fully? Or is it the right line of treatment?

Not sure what things have been considered in your case but dr Mariyam Akbar has rightly pointed out that you need to be supervised by a competent hematologist. There are severities of aplastic anaemia, and choice of treatment involves different regimens of immuno suppressive therapies, different variables depending on treatment response, ATG, availability of a donor and related testings. If as per timeline, a patient is assessed and not meeting improvement milestones, then the patient should be considered for a marrow transplant. Having said all of that، these things are not appropriate for hearsay or even online consultation/opinion.
I would recommend you to get a physical check-up/meetup with the hematologist that you can find in your locality, making sure the hematologist is transplant equipped, and take an unbiased opinion from that facility.

Duas.
