So it is about 75 year old male, a known case of ischemic stroke/TIA 6 months back, with minimal neurological deficit, who had bph and urine retention,went through -ct urogram and got the following reports. CLINICAL INDICATION: History of BPH for 2.5 years patient cathetarized for 4 days due to obstruction.
ultrasound abdomen shows a rounded area at interpolar region of right kidney? neoplastic etiology.
TECHNIQUE: 2.5 mm reconstructed images from a scan performed on multi slice CT scan reviewed on
RIGHT KIDNEY; A small well-defined enhancing slightly exophytic soft tissue density lesion is noted involving
cortex of right kidney at inter polar region measuring approximately 22x26x27 mm APXTRXCC with pre-contrast HU24, arterial phase HU 256, venous phase 198 & delayed phase HU 86. HU There is evidence of significant adjacent perinephric fat stranding & slight thickening of perirectal fascias. Renal vessels and ureter appear unremarkable showing n
