Talk to Cancer Specialist / Oncologist on Skin Peeling After Radiotherapy
Asking for Mother, Female, 52 years old, Bhoe asal district Kasur Tehsil Pattoki
My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. In Dec, 2024 surgery performed (lump remove) after which chemotherapy given from April to October. In January 2026, radiotherapy given for about 20 to 25 days, after which the side effects like skin peeling and pus is visible on the skin and she feel like the nipple is detached from areola. Are these the side effects of radiotherapy or something else?
