Asking For Self, Male, 26 Years old, lahore
Assalamu Alaikum, I suffered a fracture in the Metacarpal III (middle finger) of my right hand due to a road accident. I was treated with plaster immobilization for three weeks by an orthopedic surgeon. After three weeks, there was no significant improvement as expected, so the plaster was removed, and I was advised to use a splint for another two weeks.
The doctor mentioned that if there is no improvement after this period, surgery might be required. Currently, I am using the splint but also using my right hand for typing and computer work, which involves finger movements.
I am confused about whether I should wait for two more weeks to see progress or consult a senior orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion.
I have attached my X-ray and report for reference. Please advise on the best course of action.
keep using your hand.no need for further consultation at this point.
If you have no pain,no movement restrictions you can continue as you're now
