Asking for Father, Male, 53 years old, Faisalabad
My father had an RTA six months ago, fracturing both femurs. The left one was worse( type 4). The surgeon whom we first consulted screwed up, applied cerclage and unlocked dynamic nail on L, while a plate and dynamic nail on R. The left femur got infected with E. coli that didn’t respond to 5 months of culture specific antibiotics. A month ago, another surgeon applied AIIN which was removed yesterday. The doctor says that there’s 8cm of necrosed bone fragment on the medial side. We are quite troubled and want expert opinion on the issue
post some pictures of X-ray
Thank you for your query. This is a very complicated and long standing problem which require careful evaluation & treatment. To begin with we need to assess the patient for which you may need to visit us.
Off course your father and your family has suffered a lot. If there is a necrosed bone fragment and needs to be taken out; the limb is going to become short. To avoid further complications and treat shortening and infection, your father can be helped to full recovery at poacc.com . Please contact us through Marham.
