2 weeks ago my friend fall down and broke her elbow. she is suffering from severe pain. she went to hospital emergency and doctor said elbow dislocated and minor fracture. He said plaster removed after 3 weeks. after 2 weeks she cut the plaster, she noted there's no movement in hand,arm (also there's is no growth in nails of the affected hand). she again went to the hospital, this time doctor said elbow has fractured, and plaster the hand for 4 weeks. doctor also said there is a chance of surgery.
my question is how severe is the broken elbow? any tips for fast recovery
Please upload radiographs if possible. Recurrent fractures warrants the underlying disease treatment.
Moreover there is stiffness of joints and soft tissue after cast application. Which can be managed by effective physiotherapy.
do you have anyother xrays? i am not happy with this one. there might be a dislocation of radial head. if this is dislocated for four weeks then your friend is going towards surgery and long recovery time.
she should act fast and get an expert opinion

this is the only x-ray. elbow was dislocated. but this time doctor said elbow has been broken. are there strong chances of surgery?

if this is the only X-ray's then it looks dislocated. without seeing a new xray, no need to guess broken or dislocated.
she need to get new X-ray's as soon possible. then it can be decided surgery or no surgery

almost 3 weeks has gone but still she feels pain. doctor said it is broken and it takes 4 weeks more to heal. in case it won't heal then he will go for surgery. please suggest some good doctor in karachi. who's fees is also affordable

sorry don't know about orthopedic surgrons in Karachi.
