football got hit on my finger joint its been week now xray is clear there is no fracture but swelling and pain in joint is still there i can't properly bend my finger plz reply
bone fracture is one thing, muscle/tendon injury is another problem.
if you can't bend your finger, see an orthopaedic surgeon urgently. if tendon is injured, it will need proper treatment.
This can happen due to compression injury. The contrast X-Ray doesn't show the impact in many cases. Proper medication and care would result in a greater recovery.
