Madam first thing is to get the child examined by some competent orthopaedic surgeon and he may take his x-rays and do the measurements and let you know if your impression is right. Simultaneously he should be able to suggest preventive methods for making further growth normal for the child and can even suggest some physiotherapy or exercises . You need not worry as this is a very common condition and most of the children get it corrected during normal growth phases after four years of age.

Appropriate suggestions already posted. Get examined by orthopedic specialist. Mostly benign physiological problem corrects itself with time.

It would be a good idea to check his pelvic floor and the associated structure to rule out any misalignment.

Hi ,
Thanks for the query. There is nothing to worry about this problem until your child goes beyond 5 yrs. Consult the nearest orthopedic surgeon for his examination regarding the progression of the deformity. He might need some exercises and physiotherapy for the time being . A close follow up with an orthopedic surgeon is recommended!
