Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Left Knee Pain & Cracking
Asking for Self, Male, 31 years old, Lahore
2 years back i had two wheeler accident where the bike fell on my knee. At that time I didn't feel that much pain but once started using the stairs daily (because of accommodation floor) I started to feel immense pain which is sometimes unbearable. Checked with Ortho surgeons in Doha and MRI resulted the Grade 3 tear in medial meniscus. Getting the recommendation of surgery and for which I have concerns like - I am not sure how complex it will be - what will be the recovery time - what will be the cost for the procedure - will that be temporary procedure.
I'll be visiting Pakistan in upcoming months and planning to get it done before leaving back ... if feasible within leaves period. Need Recommendation from surgeons and suitable hospital for this

otherwise after coming Pakistan you can go for surgery if you wish.
get examined along with mri. private arthroscopic procedures can be costly. menisectomy is mostly done for meniscus tears. but that depends upon tear type.

Day care surgery, if menisectomy is done then repair is faster but if we proceed with repair then it takes upto 6-12 weeks. Cost is variable depending on city and Hospital . You may visit Hameed Latif Hospital for the procedure

Always better to save meniscus if it is possible.Repair or not to repair depends upon Arthroscopic finding during surgery.
