I have pain in my lower back in the left side I regularly gym and strength training so I have pain for a few days may be it's reason of heavy load on back and may be wrong angle some time it's fine and some time its hard so do I rest for some days or any medication or gel cream for relief pain.
The best is massage. Avoid exercises that stain back like dead lift. have some physiotherapy sessions. your back should be supported in all exercises for the next 4 weeks
u can use some topical pain reliever like pat 4 spray. rest is pain killers and dont over exert. try to be smart in weight training. increase weight gradually. adopt proper posture.
Use Panadol 2 tablets when needed. Please Visit a physical therapist and do walk only. Don't go for weight lifting without proper guidance.
take rest and do physiotherapy and with some painkillers and relaxants
