“My MRI showed an oblique meniscus tear, but I don’t remember any specific injury that could have caused it. Can this type of tear heal without surgery? I would really like to avoid surgery if possible. My knee is no longer locking, and most of the swelling has gone down. The pain is mild when I’m resting, but it gets worse when I’m doing household work or being more active. I can put weight on my leg, but if I put too much pressure on it, the pain increases. Do you think conservative treatment and exercises are enough in my case?”
continue e conservative treatment .
without surgery it's completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me its a permanent solution
Thank you
Thank you. Please share MRI pictures. If it's complete tear ,it's better to go for arthroscopy to repair the tear. If you want no surgery than avoid sitting on floor , don't twist your knee. Chances of healing are less if you are overweight, location of tear in the meniscus. Hope for the best Inshallah.Regards
