Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Nonunion Femur Fracture
Asking For Self, Female 26, lahore
I had a nonunion femur fracture 7 months till now, no callus or healing shows in x-ray, also CRP rate is high(6.5) in test My main concern is bone union and Limping, because when I walk I limp so badly, I already have 1cm shortening in fracture leg if I do go with bone grafting and new implant will my Limping problem will resolved or I have to go with ilizarov fixator please suggest me a Best treatment. I'm so depressed because of it. My marriage is next year. I can't go in front of my IN-laws like that they don't know about my situation until now.

limping can be because of many things it can be spine hip and shortening.1cm should not give that much limping.1st priority is removing infection if any and union and shortening and limping can be settled later
