I have pain in my tail bone. Now I have when I sit or stand or lay on bed. Doc said its inflammation HISTORY--> tailbone was injured by falling 2 times at the same spot 5 years ago. I had that similar pain always while sitting or standing for long time but now it has increased n its very painful cant sit in my class. XRAY ATTACHED Thank you in advance

Use ring cushion or coccyx care while sitting. Avoid sitting on hard surface. It usually take a bit longer. Sometimes if no improvement with pain medicine injection in tail bone is required.

It’s called Coccydynia meaning pain in the tail bone . Treatment is care , use coccyx donut cushion while sitting and anti inflammatory medicines like Neoprox 500 mg twice daily if there is pain for a few weeks . It it still don’t work then you can proceed with Local steroid injection in the coccyx area. Last option is surgical excision of the involved segment.
