I had an RTA on 20th Aug 2026. After that my right hands middle finger got swelling and ring finger got deviated laterally when I relax my hand. There was not fracture upon radiographs. Seems to be tendon or ligamental injury?? It's been more than a month and the swelling on middle finger is still there, subsided a little but can not be bent and flexed fully, while there is severe pain on adjacent ring finger whenever there is some load/force or a little impact on it, I scream out of pain, the pain is throbbing in mature and subsides after a minute. What to do?
Thank you. Better share your XRay and examination findings by Orthopedic Surgeon who treated you. If everything is fine than you need good physiotherapy along with pain killer medicine. Better to see any orthopedic Surgeon near you if you have not consulted any orthopedic Surgeon before. Hope for the best Inshallah. Regards
Asslamo allycum, can you please explain what was the exact mechanism of injury during RTA. Fingers injury usually take 3/ months for recovery, xrays not clear, possibly there is intra articular minute fracture, you needs MRI scan to rule out collateral ligaments or associated soft tissue injuries, you can share the results with me then I may give you the details of the management
