My wife age 40 has frozen shoulder.just got a blood test done sharing report that put her in PRE Diabetes list....her parents were diabetic.she had thyroid neck surgery few years ago.has 2 children.

It is common in diabetic patients. In severe case I recommend manipulation in general anesthesia and intra articular injection for pain. That can be decided after examining the patient.

Clinical assessment for affected shoulder required... otherwise she required physiotherapy of affected shoulder as an initial modality of treatment for frozen shoulder.

Frozen shoulder is easily manageable with physiotherapy or sometimes with intra articular injection. Prediabetes requires weight loss, restricted diet and exercise.

Frozen shoulder has nothing to do with diabetes. We see lots of patients with frozen shoulder and not all are diabetic or prediabetic. As we mentioned before, frozen shoulder is treatable and there is no need to suffer but physiotherapy will not help since they do not specialize in joints or its pathologies. let us know please
