Its been one 5 days since she has started taking lalap too. Now i need to know is there any permanent solution for this pain as i cant see her helpless and dependent as she is always very active person. She cries sometimes because of that pain. And why does this pain started suddenly as few months back she was very active, easily going here n there and now suddenly this.

Thank you
If diagnosis is already established by Orthopedic Surgeon on the basis of history and physical examination, and she has no urinary or bowel problem, no extreme weakness in her legs, than continue non surgical management of Sciatic pain .
She is taking 3 different types of medicine for nerve pain and it's ok. Regarding any pain killer medicine patient should know that response of these medicine in reliving pain and side effects vary from patient to patient. If patient doesn't get any pain relief after one week of treatment better to try another type of pain killer. Also it will be appropriate to do MRI of Lumbosacral Spine to confirm the diagnosis.
Use lumbar support while walking and sitting, remove while eating food.
Don't bend forward or twist back
Hope for the best Inshallah

patients have to take multiple pain killers with varying modes of actions to treat sciatica and that too for long periods. permanent solution lies in weight reduction. activity modification like lifting heavy weights and climbing stairs and even lumbar support if the pain is devastating.
