Assalaam u grand mother around 80 years old had her leg to no movement of leg her thigh area has become severely are afraid it's bed sore???kindly advise... JazakAllaah...
Best is to invest in an Air mattress. Change posture every 2 hours and keep the area dry
It looks more like ecchymosis but due to persistent pressure can develop into bed sore. Get proper treatment from some hospital for the fracture so that nursing care to prevent bed sore can be initiated

by the picture I can tell someone did a partial hip replacement through a posterior approach which has now gone infected unfortunately. needs drainage and maybe implant removal
