*Initial Incident Details:
The patient was giving an electricity connection to his cattle shed when he climbed a live electric pole without protective gear. He received a severe electric shock due to a short-circuit and fell directly onto the ground in a wheat field. He was immediately shifted to Hospital.
*Medical Reports Summary:
•Evidence of traumatic spinal cord injury.
•Cord contusion/compression seen between T11 to L2 vertebral levels.
•Likely involvement of cauda equina (nerve roots for legs, bladder, and bowel).
•Associated with mild vertebral compression and soft tissue swelling.
*Neurological Status at Admission:
•Complete loss of motor control and sensation from waist (around L1) down to feet.
•No movement or voluntary control in both lower limbs
•No bladder or bowel sensation; urine and stool passed involuntarily.
*Spared Region: Motor and sensory function above L1 level (abdomen and chest) was preserved.
