kindly convey my question only to psychiatrist not to psychlogist or homepathic. I want a general info about antidepressants r three antidepressants like butrin, escitalopram and my doctor has recommended me 150mg butrin 20mg escitalopram and 10mg brintellix but I felt too much sweating unbearable also little anxiety while sleeping at night and for few minutes I used to get up due to anxiety and also I had not felt a big difference in my cognition and depression.I complaint to doctor and he has now prescribed 150mg butrin 20mg brintellix and 10mg escitalopram it's been one day of this new combo and I felt no excessive sweating anxiety when I researched on internet I come to know there are some antidepressants combo that counter side effects of other antidepressants.i want to know is this new combo is right means the results I got today due to new combo are wonderful are these are temporary are I also feel temporary relief from
dear!pts are not according to books, sometime very odd combos...give wonderful results, your treating psychiatrist know you well, side effects wane with time ....and to some extent effects as well.
if ur getting better than continue but be vigillant on side effects....and if nomuch results with medication combos then consult some other good Psychiatrist and take opinion regarding interventional treatment options for resistant depression
Dear, Ideally we use a combination when one drug is not working...but taking 3 antidepressants is not a good strategy as it increases the burden of Side effects as well and hence there is tolerability issue...Although if you are doing well with this combination then you can continue but its not wise to take 3 antidepressant at a time instead there are other strategies which work better..

please consult a qualified psychiatrist, the combination of 3 drugs at the same time is not a good option.
you are getting a cocktail of treatment. However, that is your doctor's judgement and I cannot comment on this since I am not your primary doctor. Please just make sure you go to a psychiatrist as there are many quacks posing as specialists
